All published manuscripts are licensed under IRED Copyright License. Our Copyright Policy aims to guarantee that original material is published while at the same time giving significant freedom to our authors.

COPYRIGHT POLICY

All the published manuscripts are licensed under IRED Copyright License. The Copyright Policy guarantees that original material is published and at the same time giving important freedom to our authors. IRED carries a flexible copyright policy. It means that there is no copyright transfer to publisher. The authors hold exclusive copyright to their work. When submitting the manuscripts authors are required to accept terms and conditions laid down in our Copyright Agreement as follows:

  • To revise, copy, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly showcase the Chapter/content
  • To republish the Work, only if IRED is cited as source of first publication of the Work.
  • To make derivative works from Chapter/content.
  • To apply all other exclusive rights to Work (like patents).
  • To authorize others to make any usage of Chapter/content.

The users are granted right to copy, use, distribute, convey and display the Work publicly, and to form and distribute derivative works in any shape and for any responsible purpose. It can be done as long as the Author gets credit as author, and Book/Journal in which the Chapter/Article has been published is cited as source of first publication of the Work.

Permission for Use

The author assigns to IRED all rights:

  • To publish Work, as a whole or in part, by diverse means like hard copy or electronic copy formats and in any and all types of forms of media, now or henceforth known.
  • To republish, promote, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly showcase the Work at any time and in all the Publishing Group projects of IRED.

Responsibilities of Authors

IRED distributes its publications across the world. It wants to ensure that material submitted to its publications is properly available to the readership of those publications. The authors must ensure that their Chapter/Article fulfils the requirements like provisions covering originality, author responsibilities, authorship and author misconduct. Therefore:

  • The Author(s) should submit only the original work that has neither appeared anywhere else for publication, nor is under review for any other refereed publication.
  • The Authors(s) should ensure whether disclosure of their content, material or photographs needs the prior consent of other parties and, if so, should get it.
  • Research carried out in collaboration with other scholars requires the approval of all the authors submitting the Chapter/Article.
  • The statements and opinions expressed in Chapter/Article are of the Author(s) and not the editors or IRED. No accountability is accepted for accuracy of information contained in published Chapter/Article. IRED shoulders no responsibility or liability for any damage or injury to persons or property arising out of use of any instructions, materials, methods or ideas contained in the Chapter/Article.

Important General Terms

By accepting Copyright Agreement corresponding Author:

  • Warrants that he/she is Author and has power and authority to make and execute this assignment.
  • Warrants that Chapter/Article is original, has not been published before and presently is not under consideration for publication by any other entity.
  • Affirms that, for jointly authored Chapters/Articles, he/she is authorized to accept this form on behalf of all the authors.
  • Affirms that permission shall be taken for all previously published and/or copyrighted material contained in this manuscript (to such an extent that chapter incorporates text, figures, passages, data or other material from work of others), it is the collective responsibility of the authors to obtain all copyright permissions. It can be obtained during publishing process and has to be collected before publication.
  • Agrees to insure IRED against all losses and expenses (including legal costs and costs) arising from claims made by other parties because of the exceptional circumstance that author has breached any terms, conditions and/or warranties about the authorship of chapter (the entire or parts of it), the rights to publish chapter or breach of any rights of any third party.
  • In case the Author has prepared the work as part of that his/her official duties as an employee or officer of a Government agency, public institution or a company and has copyrights that belong to Government agency, any public institution, or company, IRED agrees to accept their terms and conditions if they are not in conflict with the Copyright Policy of IRED.
